iPad 3 Announced - Same as iPad 2, But Better Display, Faster and a Little Thicker

The major upgrades over the iPad 2 are:
- Quadcore graphics (claimed noticeably faster than competition with A5x processor - 2X?)
- Retina Display (I'm betting this is going to be the highest resolution display anybody is going to have for a while)
- 4G Enabled - Fast, fast, fast
- Camera - 5 MP, but same optics as iPhone 4S
You get all that at the same starting price the iPad2 started out with. Not a bad deal!
If you want an iPad 2, they're now $100 cheaper.
Things I'm relieved about:
- Same pricing as iPad2.
- Same Apple Port below.
- Same amazing battery life.
Not happy that:
- Thicker
- Heavier
Preorders started, shipping in a week. The basic question you have to ask yourself is... do you need the upgrade? If so, is it worth it?
