Google I/O 2014

That's the entire keynote.  What I gathered from half listening, half cleaning house was an Android OS update, UI features that make the interface cool-er, but mostly what intrigued me was the Smart Watch and chrome integration.  They announced the next-Gen: LG G watch, and Samsung Gear Live watches coming out next month.

Oh - one more thing that stood out: 1000 women at Google I/O and it got really special mention.  Funny how the cheers that came after that sounded predominantly male though.

Samsung's $299 Smart Watch

Samsung Galaxy Gear Smartwatch comes in 6 colors, all priced at the same launch price of $299.99.  It only works with the Samsung Galaxy Note 3, and the Samsung Galaxy S4 right now, but it's supposedly going to be supported by other Samsung phones (such as the Samsung Galaxy Note 2) in the coming weeks.

Specifications and details directly on Samsung's Galaxy Gear for Note 3 site here.

Honestly, I wasn't all that interested in the watch, partly based on some early reviews.
