Cheap but Better Edelkrone Wing Slider?
OK, so it is better in many important ways, namely price, range of motion, versatility, and features. But is it good enough for you? In my first look review, you can find out.

Its my unbox.
If you are looking to upgrade or add to the 5D Mark III, best to pre-order at a few locations.
Its $199 on pre-order now, which is in-line with what their original DropCams used to sell for. Its waterproofing, and 25 foot cable should make it reasonably easy to set it up outdoors. Improvements in software will also come with the new NestCam release.
I've been on the search for a while for the best DJI Osmo battery charger that wasn't an OEM product. I found several that are included with different battery packages that claim to charge two batteries at once. Of all the ones that I found that can charge two batteries at once, only one of them so far is able to charge as fast as the original charger but with two batteries at a time. That means I can charge one or two batteries at the same time from 0 to 100% in one hour.
Many of the others only charge at 40% to 50% the rate of the original charger. Granted if you were charging two batteries at the same time at 50% rate, you would effectively have charged both batteries in the same time in that slower dual charger as you would have if you just had the one charger, except for the convenience of plugging the batteries in and coming back two hours later.
Nice upgrade to AF for live shooters and also those looking to get into more serious videography. Great stepping stone for hybrid shooting!

I love smart security cameras like the Nest Cam Security Camera, but they can't really exactly identify whats in the video nor can they function well outdoors. The Netatmo Presence solves both those problems and adds local micro-SD storage functionality as well.
Eyefi Mobi Pro 32GB WiFi SDHC CARD + 1 year Eyefi Cloud for $99.99 retail is out now. I've been a fan of Eyefi cards for non-pro work for a number of years and was wondering when they'd come out with a newer, up-to-date mobi card vs the old Eyefi Pro (I have 3 of them).
My issue now is that the old system is incompatible with the new system so I may have to run both systems. I'm hoping they have an upgrade program for their older, loyal customers.
I do wish they kept the old orange color though because now this SD card looks like every other SD card in the camera.
Remember the DJI Inspire One, the awesome 4k Drone?

Well, they now made a 'stick' which you can attach that 4k camera and take it to go for stabilized photos and videos. It's Plug & Play, just take your inspire 1 camera, attach it, power on the mount and its ready to go.

In the demo photo above, the Camera Stick transmits the video signal via wifi directly to your smart phone.
The DJI Inspire 1 is on pre-order right now for a cool $2899 that's ready to fly - just charge up the batteries, plug in your smart device and you're good to go with 4K video camera (built in) and advanced 3 axis gimbal.
What's new is the 360 degree design for unobstructed view and rotation.
You do need a new M15 model - but the good news is that its now $100 less than the one without video.
Ricoh Theta M15 Panorama Camera, Blue - $299, but also comes in a few other colors.
After the break, see a demo of the stills quality (or lack of):
You know the saying? The best camera is the one you have with you... Well, this may just be the best camera!
This was announced at Photokina recently and it looks to be positioned as the photographer's Every Day Carry camera. A smartphone but with an awesome camera behind it with a truly enormous (by pocket camera standards) 1" sensor!
It does lack an optical zoom, but it is a smartphone after all. Full Android smartphone!
No word on if it will be released in the US, but we can all wish can't we?
On my trip, my Autographer Wearable Camera (review here) gave up on me July 4th in Washington DC. It stopped holding a charge past a reported 12%, which effectly only allowed a few minutes of camera 'on' time.
